Brooklyn’s Clouder Churns Out Chaotic Single ‘Lost in Reverie’

The title “Sister Ray Gun” calls to mind a certain sound, and Clouder pretty much nails that sound on “Lost in Reverie.” The former is the name of the Brooklyn band’s forthcoming second album; the latter is the first single. It’s a chaotic jumble of corrosive guitars and foreboding vocal intoning about what a press release says is “a faceless female presence.”

Whatever it’s about, the song is a powerful and compelling introduction to “Sister Ray Gun,” the follow-up to Clouder’s 2012 debut, “Freakin Out the Squares.” Sister Ray Gun is due March 4 on Fleeting Youth Records, and is available for pre-order here.
