Ken Stringfellow documents infestation of robots in our schools in 'Superwise' video

Somehow, amid all the debate about what goes on in our public schools, no one has raised concern about the encroachment of robots. But it’s happening, at least according to Ken Stringfellow’s new one-shot video for “Superwise.” Automatons are fighting teachers in classrooms and bathrooms, staging plays in the auditorium and playing ring-around-the-rosie with the same kids they’re indoctrinating through sloganeering posters that say things like “Girls Like it Robot.” Won’t someone think of the children?

The song is from Stringfellow’s recent solo album “Danzig in the Moonlight,” which came out last year on Spark & Shine Records. Stringfellow, who plays with the Posies, Big Star and formerly R.E.M., launches a coast-to-coast U.S. tour Jan. 23 in Portland, Oregon, that makes its way east before heading south, ending March 8 in Dallas.
