Leonard Cohen Brings 'Old Ideas' Tour to Connecticut April 2

The next leg of Leonard Cohen’s “Old Ideas” tour stops April 2 at Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, part of a 19-date run that begins March 2 in Oakland and wraps up April 20 in Newfoundland. Tickets go on sale Jan. 18 for $258.50, $149.50, $99.50, $69.50 and $49.50 through Ticketmaster.

Cohen last  year released the masterly “Old Ideas,” just his 12th studio album in a career dating back to 1967. It’s an assured collection of songs at once knowing, wry and humble, and built around his stunning, silky voice and deeply poetic lyrics.
