Leonard Friend gives away 'Every Woman' mp3 from EP

Remember Leonard Friend? It’s the new musical persona of former XYZ frontman Alex Feder, who moved to Los Angeles and cooked up a hot new indie-R&B sound influenced by Michael Jackson and the Dismemberment Plan.

We’ve already told you about “Lynyrd Frynd,” a 7-song debut EP full of synth-soul tunes, and we’ve listened together to “Serious Music,” the first single.

Now it’s time to hear “Every Woman.” It’s a tripped-out slow-jam with plinking piano and a wash of synthesizers framing Feder’s anguished falsetto, which sounds primed to aid in the removal of little black cocktail dresses everywhere. Hot.
