Los Angeles band Luna is Honey gives away hooky new song 'Who Wouldn't'

It didn’t take the first time through, but “Who Wouldn’t” — the first song on the latest release from Los Angeles band Luna is Honey — latched on tight the second time through.

Maybe it’s the busy beat or the low, buzzing guitar sound that zooms along over it, or maybe it’s Joshua Crampton’s vocals, delivered in a sort of volatile croon. Whatever it is, we dig.

The band, formed in 2006, has already self-released a pair of full-length albums on CD-Rs and cassettes. Now the quintet is back with “Copy Cats,” a quick 6-song joint that includes a cover of Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U.”
