Wilco gives away iBook, releases Spanish version of 'It Dawned on Me'

If Wilco is good, then free Wilco is even better, and the band is obliging with “The Incredible Shrinking Tour of Chicago,” a new book documenting the group’s five hometown concerts in December 2011. Available via the iBookstore on iPads, or here, the free digi-tome features live photography, set lists and imagery of posters created for the concerts.

And that’s not all: now you can rock out to Wilco in Spanish, thanks to a new Spanish-language version of “It Dawned on Me” called “Me Avivé,” which the band released last week on iTunes to mark its performance May 31 at Primavera Sound in Barcelona. It’s not free, but it is a fun novelty (and we’re reliably informed that singer Jeff Tweedy nails the Spanish grammar and vocabulary).

The band is on the road now through the end of September. Tour dates are here.
